Logo

The logo of the Friendship Tournament 2026 reflects the essential values of this gathering: sport, fellowship and faith. Its vertical composition conveys balance, striving to improve and growth, while the rising shape of the symbol evokes a living flame, representing shared energy and the spirit that unites all participants.

Each colour has a meaning that reinforces the tournament’s values:

  • Blue represents faith and trust. It is the colour of the sky, a symbol of hope, serenity and respect.
  • Yellow evokes joy, light and hope. It reflects the positive energy that illuminates a shared effort.
  • Red expresses passion, strength and love. It represents sporting drive and the unity that comes from the heart.

The rising shape of the symbol combines these three colours in a single flame, reflecting unity in diversity. It reminds us that, beyond competition, the Friendship Tournament is a place where faith is lived, effort is shared and friendship is celebrated.

Operational overview

The Friendship Tournament 2026 takes place from 3 to 6 March 2026 at El Collell, Catalonia, with approximately 1,700 people, including participants and support teams.

El Collell has outdoor sports facilities, accommodation buildings, dining areas and technical services in a natural, wooded setting. The extensive site is divided into functional areas, with vehicle access and a network of internal roads.

The event has emergency arrangements, first-aid points and specific procedures for evacuation, adverse weather and locating missing children, among other situations.

In any serious emergency, call 112.

Safety arrangements and resources

  • First-aid points operate in each sector. Play stops immediately if a significant injury is suspected. Call 112 where appropriate.
  • Internal communications use a radio network, with mobile phones as a supplementary channel, under centralised coordination.
  • Site resources and support include portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and a fire detection control panel, outdoor public-address equipment, two H-100 hydrants and large swimming pools providing a water reserve for firefighters.
  • Outdoor assembly points are designated for each sector.

Food safety risks

  • A professional kitchen with food hygiene protocols.
  • Advance registration of allergies and dietary needs.
  • Identification of participants with dietary requirements.
  • Separate handling processes where required.
  • A specific protocol for an allergic reaction, including calling 112 where appropriate.

What to do if…

Fire or smoke

  1. Move away from the affected area and notify the organisers immediately.
  2. Follow instructions and go to your assigned assembly point.
  3. If you are responsible for a group, keep it together and carry out a headcount.
  4. Do not return until permission is given.

Serious emergency: 112.

Serious injury or medical emergency

  1. If you are responsible for the activity, stop it.
  2. Call for first-aid assistance. The tournament’s medical point carries out the initial assessment.
  3. Where appropriate, 112 is called and the ambulance is directed to the assigned access point.
  4. The affected group remains under the supervision of its activity leader.

Thunderstorm or adverse weather

  1. Stop outdoor activities immediately when instructed by tournament management.
  2. Group leaders take their groups to the designated covered areas.
  3. Activities resume only with authorisation from tournament management.

Evacuation of the site or a building

  1. The order is given exclusively by the person directing the emergency response.
  2. Evacuate to the assembly point along the signposted routes.
  3. Group leaders lead and bring up the rear; do not run or turn back.
  4. At the assembly point, carry out an immediate headcount and await instructions.
  5. Activities do not resume until authorisation is given.

Serious emergency: 112.

Serious technical incident (power cut, gas leak, facilities failure or kitchen incident)

  1. Notify the organisers immediately.
  2. If you are responsible for a group, move people away and cordon off the area.
  3. Maintenance staff or the organisers will shut off supplies, such as electricity or gas, and decide whether evacuation is required.

Serious emergency: 112.

Night-time procedure (accommodation)

  1. Report any incident to the person on duty.
  2. Those responsible activate the relevant medical, technical or evacuation protocol.
  3. During evacuation, take the group to its assigned assembly point and carry out a headcount, keeping the group together.

Lost or missing child

  1. The group leader reports the child’s identifying details and last known location through the official channels.
  2. A sector-by-sector search and access controls are activated.
  3. All other groups remain under supervision until the incident is resolved.
  4. If it is not resolved promptly, the incident is escalated so that external services can be notified.
