At this stage we teach 33% of classes in English: to the subject “English” we have added “Art”, “Social Science”, “Natural Science”, Computer Science and “Physical Education” from 4th grade of Primary.

In addition, we have English language teachers in countries with extensive international experience and in different methodologies, who help prepare students to have a good command of the foreign language.

Consequently, at the end of the stage, students acquire a level of comprehension and expression appropriate to their age, preparing for the Cambridge Language Assessment exams (A2/B1).

We also have our OAK academies abroad so that our students can enjoy a quarterly or annual exchange, or summer camp in the USA, Ireland or Switzerland.

We encourage cognitive, physical and emotional stimulation of our students, promoting active acquisition and internalization of knowledge. To do this, we implement various pedagogical strategies:

Students develop their curiosity by asking questions, researching and analysing information. They learn to plan activities and manage their time, as well as theorise, synthesise, compare and present their findings.

Educational activities are enriched with programs that address the fundamental competencies of this stage, such as:

• Logical-mathematical thinking: We foster this development through the use of manipulative mathematics, which allows students to explore concepts in practical and meaningful ways.
• Language development in the three languages: We promote the acquisition of language skills in English, Spanish and Catalan, facilitating effective communication and intercultural understanding.
• Musical expression and art: learning to appreciate the works of great artists, knowing their techniques and adopting them as a means of expression and development of one’s own creativity.

• In each weekly religion session, you will learn age-appropriate songs and prayers from a specialist teacher.

• We accompany them so that they may discover Jesus as a Friend and the path of happiness that He offers them, so that they may wish to live Christian values ​​and the Catholic faith, and become people of integrity.

We train the will and emotions of our students by acquiring virtues through campaigns and activities adapted to each course.

We promote the value of solidarity with social action campaigns, teaching students the importance of contributing to society and improving their environment.

We promote love and respect, helping students to build sincere relationships, value themselves and others, developing their emotional and personal maturity.

We educate in environmental responsibility, motivating students to reflect and actively participate in initiatives for the conservation of the natural environment.

Digital competence in primary school

We seek to inspire our students to use technology responsibly, while encouraging their computational and creative thinking. Through varied and stimulating activities, we cultivate their motivation and prepare them to tackle complex problems, helping them to understand them and develop innovative and effective solutions.

Digital programs and tools

We introduce our students to programming and computational thinking skills through robotics with Beebots, integrating it into various areas of learning. We complement this experience with digital tools such as Smart Boards and digital microscopes, which enrich the development of these skills. With these technologies, our students not only acquire technical knowledge, but also enhance their ability to solve problems and cultivate critical and innovative thinking.
